PIZZA. (cue angelic trumpetting)
I've been on an extended "vaca." AFK for awhile, if you will. Just didn't have it in me to post anything. I'm 1 wk away from a move to Oceanside, CA....and ecstatic at that...but moving still sucks. Honestly. I.HATE.MOVING. I've done it too much in the last couple of years. ...some cheese with my whine, please... Which brings me to this post. PIZZA. Quite possibly one of the best culinary blessings on the planet...if done right. Sadly, I took this gem for granted while in Jersey City/NYC...the end all, be all, mecca o'pizza. Sure, some will argue, how can I possibly make such a claim...? What about Italy - the birthplace of this miracle food? Not for nothing, but i'm told pizza actually originated in Greece. I know. Sacrilege. Whatever the case may be, i've been to Europe, and sorry...but no place makes better pizza than NYC & JC.
