I have been on an insane juice cleanse kick ever since my colleague Amanda introduced me to Nekter Juice Bar . I'm on my 3rd cleanse in a month and a half. My reasoning? I need to reset my body. Spicy lemonade to fire up that metabolism :) I have not been honoring myself in any way lately. I work long hours and don't do much in the way of exercise. Factor in daily bought lunch and you've got a recipe for disaster. So i've juiced and I have to say it's been good. It's been a blessing in disguise not having to think about what to eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner, lol But the benefit isn't in placating my laziness. I'm getting all my fruits and veggies and my body has been taught to crave those things. Hopefully i'll be able to keep the train rolling along through these greener pastures. We were sooooo fancy :) Garden Party cocktail in the making  2 rounds of delicious apps and lots of liquid love brought the team together in celebration of 1/2 a year of amazing work for ourselves and our clients. It was a...

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching...and me being the epitome of procrastinators...I started perusing   the web in hopes of plundering some mighty fine VDay gifts for my beloved.  Arguably, Valentine's is a commercial nightmare preying on people to spend lots and lots of $ on gifts to "prove" their love...but no one said a sincere sentiment came with a pricetag.  I'm subscribing to this concept this year because a) a genuine and heartfelt notion lasts a whole lot longer than $60 long stem roses....and b) I'm pretty broke, lol I digress...here is a range of Valentine's gifts spanning the price spectrum: Vosges Haut Chocolat....For the chocolate lover in your life!  Lots to choose from...Fell in love with Vosges while on a business trip to Chicago - there's a pop up store in O'Hare =) You can find intoxicating gifts from anywhere between $10 and $100...This is definitely one of my guilty pleasures! vosgeschocolate.com Cupcakes...
